Draft at Bundobust, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light chai spices. The flavour is moderate to light liqourice bitter, with a slightly light, watery, light roasty, earthy, light spicy palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Needs more body and a whole lot more spice!

Dark brown and hazy with quick fading head. There's a floral spiciness in the aroma but not offensive. Flavour has some cardamom, dried orange and coriander. Not a fan of sweet spices but this is doable.

On tap at Bundobust, pours a dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma brings out soft chai notes, lactose and a touch of roast. Flavour is a chai bomb, but it's smooth and silky, with lactose, chai and a touch of ginger. Smooth and creamy, with a nice body. Good stuff.

Keg @ Bundobust Manchester. Lighter brown coloured with a light inoffensive spice and smooth malts.

Keg @ Bundobust Brewery, Manchester before watching Pigs x 7 at Albert Hall. Pours dark with a creamy mocha beige head. Aroma of general chai spice, mild vanilla with distant ginger hints, continues to taste, smooth almost creamy texture with chocolate malts and soft roast. Decent, but the spices could be more prominent.

Deep brown, near black, with a creamy beige head and a hint of spice mixed in with roasted malt on the nose. You're expecting a tea vibe, and there is some, along with maybe vanilla, but it's mostly a very enjoyable moderately rich roasted malt flavour, with some chocolate and coffee notes and a slightly bitter finish
