0,5 l bottle from a local Hol´Ab! bottle shop. Murky golden in the glass with a nearly three finger white foamy head. Dry banana on the nose some orange, yeast and sulfur. Taste starts with sweet orange and banana. Increasing yeast and wheat elements. Low bitterness. Mid carbonation. Better than expected.

Appearance: cloudy deer yellow with a moderate off-white frothy head of low retention. Aroma and taste: sweet banana, bread . That's mostly it. Light to medium sweet. Mouth feel: medium body, soft carbonation. Overall: pretty one-dimensional.

Citric, herbal aroma. Sweetish, citric, milky flavor. Rather thin with a banana aftertaste. Not the best weizen available, butt refreshing and likeable.

Creamy white good fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy and moderate yeasty aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Week fruity esters. Watery palate. .

Pours orange from the bottle with a huge, foamy head that rapidly settles. The aroma is banana, fresh corn, hints of rubber. Taste is banana sweet, turning lightly tart with hints of lemon at the finish. Body is medium, but light watery hints come through at time, and on top of this the alcohol is not perfectly hidden. So overall, a beer with a few flaws and a bit below average for the style, but not a disaster. I had no problems finishing the bottle.

In Germany, it seems all the breweries have to produce a pilsener, and have to produce a hefeweizen. This seems to be an example of the latter, a formulaic weizen brewed to meet the local market. Nothing of note here, a run of the mill hefeweizen, with all the right flavors and scents, but nothing that sets it apart either.

Hazy tan-straw. Not bad looking. The aroma is banana, lots of sugars with fruitiness and light plastics. Dry and fizzy with some sweeter flavours emerging late, but also a bit of late footiness. Doesn’t really finish dry, so to me it kind of fades out.
