Ein typisch fränkisches Pils in frischem Gelb mit cremig-weißem, feinporigen Schaum. Schon in der Nase stechen die grasig-grünen Hopfennoten hervor. Im Antrunk erst spritzig-rezent, zeigt sich sogleich der Hopfen mit schönem frischen, leicht zitrusartigen Aroma. Das Weiherer Pils behält diese Noten bis zum Schluss und klingt mit angenehmer Bittere feinherb aus. Typisch. Fränkisch. Weiherer Pils.

6-5-6-4-13 Bottle, four months before bbd. Pours clear yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is floral hops with grass, herbs and light citrusy notes, as well as malts with cereals, hay and minerals. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is floral hops with grass and light zesty herbs, as well as malts with white bread, honey, hay and earthy minerals. Quaffable, but a bit malty and some more bitterness would not hurt.

Weiherer Pils, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase zarte, elegante helle Malzsüße, etwas Vanille, milder aber aromatischer zitrusfruchtig-grasiger Aromahopfen. - Antrunk fein hellmalzig (Weißbrot) mit zarter Vanillesüße. Feine, leicht zitronige und grasige Hopfung. Milder rezent, nicht so schlank wie ein klassisches Pilsner. Im Abgang leicht trocken, dezent harzig und schwach ranzig. - Elegantes aber etwas blaß gehopftes Pilsener, ohne die knackig-frische Schärfe, die das Weiherer Keller-Pils auszeichnet. Optisch klasse, Perlen durchziehen das klare Gold und zaubern ein schönes Schaumhäubchen auf die Pilsstange. In der Nase hopfig, unauffällig. Im Trunk hopfig, leicht grasig, mittig bitter, hinten süffiger, leicht fruchtige Nebennoten, die eine gewisse Harzigkeit mit reinbringen. Besser als der Durchschnitt.

swing top bottle 500ml. -from Kaufland Bamberg. Paaale yellow coloured, medium sized airy white head, lively carbonation, weak bready nose. Sweetish malty, bready, light grassy and touch of herbal hops with slightly watery finish.

Tap at the brewery. Clear, bright golden color with a high, thick head. Bright lemony hop nose, crisp malts. Crisp and light, bready malt, lemony hops with a touch of herbal lemon balm.

500ml swing-top bottle, thanks to djoeye for sharing. Chalk white head, lacing rings from a low white head. Moderate malt-fruity aromas. Taste of mid-sweet buttery malts with a citric backdrop.
