(bottle, 33cl, as Huppendorfer 1750 Vollbier, 5.0% abv) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly toasted and slightly nutty malty aroma with notes of biscuits and caramel, as well as hints of metal in the background. Slightly bitter and tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Dry and slightly buttery malty base with notes of caramel and sour dough; mildly bitter and delicately tart finish with notes of metal. Still drinkable but not really convincing. 29.VII.17

Fläschla - as 1750 (333ml): Deep golden, a bit unclear, small and stable off-white head; delicate metallic traces in the dryish rural-malty nose; mild bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; mild malty and hoppy traces in the dryish short bitter-sweet finish. Poor by franconian standards...

Bottle. Deep gold, fine thick head. Served too warm at the festival. Nose is biscuit and grass, with a touch of lemon. Flavor is deeply grainy, crunchy, and malty, like 7-grain bread. Full body. Hard to tell. much, too warm. Could be great.

Naturtrübes Vollbier. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, mild-dry, spicy, modest fruity like lemon without being too sourish. Well balanced finish and quite drinkable. Nice!
