Light gold colour. Sparkly, with a low head. Herbal, slightly fruity hop aroma. Mild bitterness and a pleasing light malty character with a fresh, fruity hop overlay. Good, but nothing special.

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Clear light golden with a moderate white head. Nose is citric fruit, straw, bread dough, light caramel. Taste comprises much the same, lemon zest, grassy tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so pils.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Pils mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch herb, grasig, leicht getreidig. Geschmack startet bitter hopfig, grasig.

0,5 l bottle. Not really clear but golden in the glass. Small white head. Grainy and a light herb sourness and pine needles on the nose. Starts mid grainy herb, light bitterness followed. Hints of citrus, relative long aftertaste with pleasant bitterness. Nice Pilsener. Thanks to kappldav123 for that bottle.

Spodziewałem się lepszego pilsa, otrzymałem przeciętnego lecz nie najgorszego. Najlepsza jest piana mocna, puszysta. Nagazowanie i klarowność spora. W smaku zbyt mało wyrazisty i lekko wodnisty
