Eine gute Menge Hefe die da am Flaschenboden klebt und die es erst mal gilt ausgeschüttelt zu werden. Das Bier hat eine tolle Trübung und eine gute, cremige Schaumentwicklung. Auch das altertümlich gestaltete Etikett gefällt mir. Optisch alles richtig gemacht. In der Nase hat man einen Hauch aromatische Quitte und ganz minimale Spuren von Flieder. Geschmacklich haben wir noch nicht ganz reifes Getreide, etwas Birne und Apfel, Hefe und eine Blumenwiese an einem tauigen Sommermorgen. Anfangs hat man noch eine leichte Eisennote, aber die verfliegt nach 3 Schlucken. Ein Hauch von Vanillezucker (Moravius hat das gut erkannt - ich konnte zuerst nicht direkt den Finger auf diese Note legen) fliegt im Hintergrund kurz vorbei. Insgesamt ist das Bier aber eher auf der säuerlichen / säurebetonten Seite. Ein recht anständig gemachtes Weißbier.

Erstes Forchheimer Export-Hefe-Weißbier, Flasche von REWE, Forchheim-Reuth. - Helles Goldbraun, anfangs fast klar. - In der Nase leicht säuerliche weizenmalzige Noten, Hefe, Sägespäne, etwas Banane, milde florale Hopfung. - Antrunk satt weizenmalzig und zart vanillesüß mit feinster Säure, leichter obergäriger Frucht, der unvermeidlichen Banane, Klee und milder herbaler Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig, hefeweich. Im Abgang desgleichen. - Füllig weizenmalziges, nicht uneben gehopftes, insgesamt solides Weizen. Kann man durchaus trinken, wenn man mal Appetit auf Weizenbier hat (was bei mir allerdings so gut wie nie vorkommt). (24.8.2023.)

Citrus and honey in both aroma and flavor. A soft yeast character. Anis. Thin to medium bodied. Thirst quenching, but not without taste.

500ml Bottle - Cloudy light amber. Skumbanan and toffee in the aroma. Notes of banoffee dominate the taste along with some hints of apple.

500ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, white head. Wheaty and fruity, slightly citrusy aroma, hints of dried banana chips, a touch of pear, lemon, spicy yeasty hints of clove and peppergrass. Taste is wheaty, yeasty fruity, hints of pear, a touch of banana, citrusy hints of lemon; minimally creamy, almost a bit slimy palate.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy banana aroma. Fruity wheat malty spicy banana flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy banana finish.

At Kellerwald Forccheim. Cloudy gold. Banana ripe. Some earth some fullness. Very simple weizen no complexity. Ripe banana not much hop.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice creamy head. Starts mild, but not washy, modest fruity like apricot. Fine malty-yeasty, not too dry. Well balanced finish and quite drinkable. Not bad!
