Export ist schwächer gehopft als Pils und deshalb für alle, die am Bier besonders den vollmundigen, malzigen Geschmack schätzen. Auch hier werden die Eigenschaften des fertigen Getränkes wie bei allen Bieren schon ab dem Sudhaus durch ein spezielles Maischverfahren und die Komposition von Wasser, Malz und Hopfen festgelegt und durch die anschließende Gärung und Reifung noch verfeinert und abgerundet.

Ratskrone export. Just a bit of cake dough in the aroma. Malty flavor with some pineapple. Just a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste. Not abundant with flavors and aroma’s, but nice to drink. Above expectation. Kronen export premium. No specific aroma. Malty, light hopbitter flavor with some fruity esters, lingering on in the short aftertaste. Nothing special. (5 3 5 3 8 = 2.4)

(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a blond and firm medium-sized foamy head. Strawy and doughy malty aroma with a mouldy touch and a tinge of herbal hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Strawy and doughy malt character, shades of hops in the background; sweet-bitter malty and delicately herbal hoppy finish. Bland. 30.VII.14

bottle from Edeka Offenburg. Golden with a white head. Malty, quite shy, hints of honey, some cardbaordy, dusty hops in the finish.
