Export ist schwächer gehopft als Pils und deshalb für alle, die am Bier besonders den vollmundigen, malzigen Geschmack schätzen. Auch hier werden die Eigenschaften des fertigen Getränkes wie bei allen Bieren schon ab dem Sudhaus durch ein spezielles Maischverfahren und die Komposition von Wasser, Malz und Hopfen festgelegt und durch die anschließende Gärung und Reifung noch verfeinert und abgerundet.

500ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, Karamell, getreidig, metallisch. Geschmack würzig malzig, Karamell, leicht würzig.

Bottle, 4.9% as Ratskrone Export. Distinct hop aroma, vegetable and herbs. Clear yellow coour. Very small white head. OK malty flavour, a little vegetable and chalk. Not entirely clean, but OK.

Bottle as Ratskrone Export. Looks very much like a cheap beer. Tastes the same: a little bit spicy, too sourish and vapid finish. Not good!
