12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 9/14/21. Clear gold. large foany white head, good retention. Aroma of sweet watermelon, lemon. Taste is much the same. Thin, bit too sweet. Decent for what it is.

Pours a clear golden amber from a can, rather effervescent but head does not subsist. Light watermelon aroma and flavor, wheaty aftertaste. Meh.

Crisp, clear golden coloured body with a thin, faint white head that fades very quickly, just like soda. Aroma of fake watermelon, caster sugar, funky and astringent malts with a lot of watermelon candy added in the back - quite strong. Light-bodied; Funky malts and grain hit first with a deep watermeloney bite that shows artificial flavours and a lot of biscuity and almost nutty malts with a dash of citrus and light tolerable fruits and sugars, but then the fake watermelon candy hits hard and leaves the mouth funky. Aftertaste shows the grain, astringent malts, a lot of caster sugar and funky fructose notes and ends of course with the fake watermelon flavours - and not in a good way. Overall, a pretty funky shandy that does hit the watermelon notes, just unfortunately in a deeply artificial manner that shows way more like candy than like fruit. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 11-May-2019 for US$1,99 sampled just over a month later at home in Washington, a few blocks away on 20-June-2019.

16 ounce can. Medium gold pour. Frothy white head. aroma of fresh cut watermelon slices. Sweet grainy malt and lots of watermelon flavor. Best on a hot summer day around the swimmin' hole (or pool). Refreshing.
