Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is vanilla, dark malt, milk chocolate, notes of chocolate cookies, roast. Flavour is sweet with a bittersweet finish. Above medium body, bit creamy finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color, beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, dark malts, cocos, marshmallows, sugary and sweet. Not my kind of stout but it is what they say it is so I like that aspect. But other than that, no, not my kind of beer.

My bottle of cream team says cookies and cream. I'm not one for pastry stouts, but I thought I'd give this a try. BTW, the style here on RB is wrong; it is not a milk stout, it's a pastry stout - get with it! Any who... After I pop the lid I get a nose of sweet malt, almost like a malted milk shake, heheh. The pour is rather nice to the eye, lots of bubbling action on a black beer that makes a decent choco-moose head. Out of my harley mug, it's not as cloying as most pastry brews, but it is very sweet none-the-less. Yes, almost as sweet as cloying, but never quite gets there. It's dark, it's sweet and it's loaded with dark choco flavor. A little mouthcoating at theat. After the first few swigs, it seems, the almost 10% of this brew, makes it hard to drain pour. Yea, I just want to keep on slugging it. I think I'm catching a little buzz, heheheh. It's stout and it's dark and so what if it's too sweet? It's a little better than most of the pastry BS out there.

Roast and light oreo. Black pour with quickly dissipating head. Great balance on this, some milk and dark chocolate, a little coffee. Bitter finish with a light lactose note on the finish. Bottle.

12 ounce bottle. Nearly opaque black brown color. Small creamy beige head is scant. Roasted malt aroma reeks of Oreo Cookies. First sip is sweet chocolate malt. Some molasses, perhaps. Chocolate and vanilla on the palate. Sticky mouthfeel. Bittersweet chocolate finish.

12 ounce bottle from State Line, 8/26/22. Near black, medium brown head, average retention. Aroma of chocolate, cherry, vanilla. Pretty much smells like oreos. Taste is roast, chocolate, vanilla, cherry. Slick, full bodied. Nice.
