Seit September 1997 wird dieses mildwürzige Exportbier nach einem Original Rezept aus den 1920er Jahren gebraut.
Es zeichnet sich durch einen harmonischen milden und gleichzeitig würzigen Geschmack aus. Dies gelingt durch ausgewogene Gaben von allerbestem Tettnanger Aromahopfen und der zweizeiligen Braugerste. Ein Bier für den täglichen Biergenuss, von montags bis sonntags!

The bottle looks not so good, almost like a cheap beer. The beer in the glass is not bad, very zippy, fine and creamy foam. The beer starts very sweet and keeps it till the end. The spicyness is missing. Not bad, but also not really good! Thanks to quack-duck for the beer!

Bottle (thanx to quack-duck !) Pale golden, smaller white head, grainy to pale-malty nose with a distinctive citrousy hoppy, almost fruity-vinous touch; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, medium bodied; drier citrousy-hoppy finish. A very pleasant, refreshing brew....

(bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Clear, yellow colour with a mid-sized, not very persistent foamy white head. Light-sweet malty and herbal hoppy nose. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft malty base, herbal notes in the wings; dry and moderately bitter finish with hoppy accents. Quite boring brew, but anyway clean and drinkable.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pale pilsener golden with a small, white head. Vague aroma of metal and malt. Medium-bodied, sweetish malty - basically without any bitterness. But soft and pleasant. 250606

Das Bier schmeckt vom Anfang an ausgesprochen durchschnittlich. Mild isses - die versprochene Würze erschmecke ich nicht. Am Anfang leicht herb, im Nachgeschmack leicht metallern - wie gesagt ausgesprochen durchschnittlich. Test vom 18.2.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,7,9,7,9,7 - 7,80
