Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt with cocoa, chocolate syrup, caramel, mocha, coffee, lightly tobacco, some liquorice, toffee, and a little burnt sugar. Flavour is sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Body is full. Sweet with a lot going on, not the dynamite I expected, but good.

Cask @ Borefts. Black. Coffee, caramel and toffee in the aroma and flavor. Roasty, very sweet. Very well balanced. No Carbon.

[ As Wylam / De Molen Jekyll & Hyde ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, light coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity malt, caramel, chocolate, dark malt, coffee, malt bitter. Body is medium - medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20180922] 8-4-8-4-16 Cask @ 10th. BBF 2018 [ 10th Borefts Beer Festival 2018 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Wylam / De Molen Jekyll & Hyde ].Clear dark black colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, wood, roasted - dark chocolate, light soy sauce. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, wood, roasted - dark chocolate, soy sauce, dark malt, roasted. Taster courtesy of Sander, big thanks. black color, small coffee colored head. smells earthy, soy sauce, licorice, bit boozy, medical. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of soy sauce, licorice, spices, earthy, vanilla, nutty. finishes lightly sweet with notes of soy sauce, licorice and some nutty notes. quite heavy on the soy sauce, not the biggest fan of this.

Can at home from Amsterdam, 14th December 18. Pours a black beer, not much of a head. Aroma is cocoa, liquorice, dark chocolate, liquor. Taste is cocoa, liquorice, chocolate, dark and milk. Good amount of bitterness, dusty cocoa. Delicious stout, from two great breweries

Can sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Max & Stas. Black, brown foam. Roast, coffee, chocolate, caramel, nuts, sweet and bitter, rounded. Very nice.

Borefts X. I'm ten for ten! Day 2. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth but somewhat thin dark malts. A little dark chocolate and a whisper of dark malt cream. Mildly tangy dark fruits. Trace of vanilla. Nice but thin for the style.
