Bottle, as Yuengling Light. Not too bad for a light lager. Yellow gold color, a thin but tight and creamy head. Aroma is mostly bready (distinctly rye), with a touch of musty hop. Fizzy palate, again very bready, with an empty finish. Light palate, flavorful but still boring.

It tastes like the lager, but with less flavour and less alcohol. Unless you like the fact that this has low calories, there is no reason to choose this above the far superior lager.

Crystal clear blonde golden coloured body with a nice white head that seems to last for a bit. Good for a light beer, but still doesn’t match with the Sam Adams light appearance. Aroma of pale malt, very low amounts of hops, some cardboard and an actually very nice smelling orange/citrus twang. Super-light-bodied; Tastes similar to water, with no horrible metal, malt, stale hops or any other off-flavours. Aftertaste shows a very light amount of malt, and some of the citrus sugars, but nothing else. Very non-offensive and mild. A good light beer-especially for what people want, a mild and alcoholic water. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle given to me by my brother-in-law who pulled this one from a 12 pack sampler on 01-January-2005.

Probably the best light beer made, one of them anyways. Taste is crystal clear, with no cereal/grainy taste. Has a bit of a sour malt taste to go along with it, on the finish. Clean and crisp and what a light beer should be.
