Cask at the Live and Let Live, Cambridge on 18th July 2024. Gold with off-white foam and spot lacing. Pungent aroma. Zesty peel and tropical fruits in-mouth, and a sweet fruity finish. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

19/7/2024. Cask at the 2024 Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival. Pours slightly hazy dark orange amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is orange, caramel, biscuit, malt, tropical fruits, peach. Medium sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, quite smooth, soft carbonation. Nice long bitter finish. Well done, and a second I was able to contrast to the Oak Cask edition tried at Norwich last year and imo the wood effect was a detractor.

From wooden cask, third shared with Finn at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Wood Bar. Misty amber body, naked surface, poor lacing. Canned fruity nose. Malt-fruity taste profile, caramel and citrus. Ends dry and bittersweet. Satisfying. (2nd day of the festival, 23.01.2020).
