½ liter draft at the Curry Village in Yosemite, California. I also had this from the bottle, purchased as a single bottle at the Lodgepole general store in Sequoia National Park. The pour is hazy golden yellow with a well formed one inch white head. The aroma is cracker bread malt, wheat grain, along with lemon citrus and lemon peel. Bright nose. The taste is a fresh clean blend of the bread wheat grain malt and the lemon citrus notes. Muted yeast flavor. The palate is light to medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, active carbonation and a crisp mineral finish. Really hit the spot.

12 oz bottle from Country Club Liquors. Nose is bready, with hints of clove and banana. Murky yellow with a medium, lightly lacing yellow tinged head. Flavor is lightly sweet ripe bananas, pasty white bread, and a hint of bitter. Decent wheat!

2012: Tap at the West Coast Brewfest. This comes across as a non-earthy saison. Grains of paradise are the little peppery aspects. Very good on tap. 2008: Bottle from Grocery Outlet in Woodland. Brewed in Roseville. Slightly hazy orange gold color with a multifinger white head. Smells of citrus hop. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is wheat, citrus and something more. It’s a really tasty wheat. Finishes somewhat astringent. Really refreshing.
