Unser Malzbier findet sich schon im Rezeptbüchlein unseres Brauerei-gründers Eduard Vormann aus dem späten 19. Jahrhundert und ist damit ein echter Klassiker.
Mit wenig Alkohol und mit Karamellzucker verfeinert ist unser Malzbier aromareich und süffig, hat als „echtes“ ausgegorenes Bier trotzdem eine leichte Hopfennote und ist nicht zu süß.
Mit karamellisiertem Zucker verfeinertes Leichtbier, obergärig, tief dunkel – herbmalzig, karamellig, rund.

Deep dark color. Sweet, thin but syrupy. Sugary. No unpleasant by-flavors. Just a low alcohol restorer that does its job well after some hard work or exercise.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, thanks to Erzengel. Pours a misty amber, off white head. Lightly sweet aroma of maltloaf. Taste is similar but ultra sweet, malty, biscuity and a touch watery. Bit of an odd one.

Pours a dark brown color, topped with a medium tan colored head that quickly disappears. Malty aroma, slightly roasted and a bit caramel feel to it. Taste is sweet and malty, caramel as well. Mild bitterness. Not a bad one to be fair.

0,5 l bottle from local toom, best before 16/1/2016. Clear, dark ruby with a fluffy, quickly collapsing, tan head. Sweetish, malty aroma. Very sweet taste of molasses and caramelised sugar. Very short and sweetish finish with just a slightly hoppy note. Medium body, thick mouthfeel, flat carbonation. Very good malzbier! Quite tasty, not artificially sweet, harmonic.

Mild-weicher Antrunk. Malzig-süß, aber nicht klebrig. Im Hauptteil weich und mild, angenehme malzige Süße mit einem deutlich "bierigen" Grundaroma. Nette milde Herbe im Nachgeschmack, frisch, vielleicht ein Tick Wässrigkeit, aber sehr süffig, mild und frisch. Tolles Malzbier! Nicht zu süß und schön ausgewogen!

Thanks to Erzengel for this bottle. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts mild, intense malty, not too sweet. Mild roasty notes. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Okay.

Sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit wenig Schaum. Geruch sehr malzig süß, Röstmalz, so ist auch der Geschmack.
