Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2018. A black beer with a small off-white ring. Aroma of sweet chocolate, Cocoa, vanilla, dark strong malt. Taste of sweet cocoa, vanilla, bourbon, Chocolate, nice.

Borefts 2018. Day 2. Sampled draft. Thank you for sharing! Dark brown. Nose is sweet liquorice, mocha, bit alcoholic liquorice, alcoholic,… Taste is bit too medicinal bark, liquorice, herbal, roast some sweeter milk chocolate but liquorice & kitchen spice dominates a bit overall fair. Could be bit thicker.

8 3 8 3 16Draft at Borefts Beer Festival ‘18. Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, licorice, toast and caramel. Flavour is light heavy sweet and above moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roast, some sugar glaze, cachaça yeah I can get that. Taste is chocolate, roast, light liquorice, cachaça indeed. Thick oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Nice!

Clear dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: lots of coffee, caramel, chocolate, sweetish, malty, vanilla touch. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coffee, sourish, alcohol, more coffee, malty. Aftertaste: bitter, coffee, acidic touch, malty finish.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Very dark reddish brown to black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and some nuts. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty and a little yeasty taste of dark chocolate, licorice, coffee and some nuts, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.
