Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a deep black with a tan color head. Aroma is rich roasted malts, coffee, bitterness, light smoke, hint of dark chocolate. Taste is rich roasted malts, coffee bean, rich dark chocolate/cocao, lingers around just a bit bitter roast.

Can from Vine And Grain. Appearance - deep brown to black and opaque. Nose - rich and dark and creamy chocolate. Taste - creamy chocolate and a touch of prune. Toffee too. Palate - medium to full bodied and creamy in texture. Good linger, sweet finish. Overall - very nice.

Can thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee, stewed prune, liqueur chocolates. Taste is nutty, dried fruit, chocolate, coffee, more liqueurs. This is lovely.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 06/11/21. Black with a good sized khaki cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is dark malts, almond, dried fruit rinds, light spice, charr, burnt toffee, Taste comprises dark malts, liquorice, spice, charr, ashen tones, earthy bite, fruit cake. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow kiss of alcohol. Solid well balanced and flavoursome Ball-Tick.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours black-brown with a small, foamy tan head that fades too quickly. Medium sweet, toothy, some nice lightly ashy roast, burnt toast, chocolate, biscuity malts, a little earth, raisins, dark fruits, black coffee, moderate bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more sturdy roast, fresh coffee, cocoa, raisins, well toasted biscuits. Nicely rounded beer.

Black beer, thin head which soon fizzles out. Smells of coffee and malt. Flavour is rich coffee, malt, a little toastiness to it. I'm not getting a lot else BUT it's got those few flavours which are distinct, well balanced and delicious and I'm absolutely here for it. Coffee lingers into the aftertaste and is rich but clean. Great stuff.
