Bottle, provided by Dortmunder. Thanks! Orange brown color. Pear aroma with some chocolate. Bitter chocolate flavor. Malty, medium bodied plus. Hint of butter. Very likeable!

A pungent aroma of malt and hops with a delicately balanced flavor. The mouthfeel is also good. O.K.

Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

500ml bottle with a long neck and a screw cork, bought at Bier Spezialitäten Laden in Berlin. Good looking in the glass with a very deep, ruby-brown body under a slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweet, all-malty aroma. Sweet, dark brittle caramel in flavour with a touch of alcohol. In danger of getting assertively sweet. Quite possible to drink, but really not my kind of a winter warmer (Tromsø, 02.01.2010).
