Der hopfenaromatische Geruch erinnert etwas an Wiesenblumen und Heu. Ein milder Malzgeschmack, ummantelt von feinwürzigen und floralen Tönen fließt am Gaumen sauber dahin. Vollmundig und kräftig im Geschmack klingt das Gold Ochsen Special mit einer angenehmen Hopfenbittere harmonisch aus. Man freut sich auf den nächsten Schluck.
Das Gold Ochsen Special ist ein Festbier für besondere Anlässe.

From a trip in Germany, at February, opening this bottle, yesterday, relax, at home, beginning with some holidays. Hot weather and a pils to find your happiness. This one is classical, average, grassy, malty, a bit boozy, note of sweetness, bitter, 15.07.23

Bottle picked up from a Getrankemarkt in Günzburg and consumed at home Thursday 2nd October 2025 sat listening in the dining room to Nathan Shepherd New Music Fix on 6Music, Deb Grant not around this evening. We listened to a very good edition of Round Table with Huw Stephens earlier. Anyway onto the beer, it pours clear gold, warm gold, large white head but this soon departed. Soft mouthfeel, sweet maltiness it's 5.5% but drinks like a 3.5% beer, very easy drinking, there's a light bitterness but it's very well integrated and doesn't detract. Really good beer.

Klare goldgelbe Farbe; gemischtporige, stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase viel helles Malz, ein wenig grasiger Hopfen und Honig im Hintergrund. Im Geschmack malzig, relativ trocken, leicht würzig, sprudelige Kohlensäure, hopfiger als erwartet im Aroma und in der Bittere, mittlerer Körper. Insgesamt sehr rund.

Many thanks to Gabriel 🙂 Large tight foamy white head on a slowly carbonating clear golden coloured body. Bread & grain aroma. Medium bodied, foamy & cloying. Sweet malt, grain, biscuit & bitter tastes. Oh that's poor!

Blonde. malty aroma with some raspberry esters. Malty flavor with fruity esters, cake dough and a light hopbitterness. Just below medium bodied, but fairly well balanced.

Pours clear golden with a thin, foamy, white head; some lacing. Aroma of grain, hay, cow fodder, breadcrust, faint apple. It tastes medium malty sweet, bready with a hint of honey, and light grainy bitter, yeasty & accent of hay. Dryish, grainy finish, bready, a bit citric. Medium body, slick/watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Nothing 'special'...

Süßer heller Antrunk ohne viel Aroma. Im Mittelteil getreidig und insgesamt würzig werdend, spät wenig herb. Süffig, zum Ende sogar leicht hopfig und rund. Schade, dass das nicht früher kommt… 7/6/7/9/8/8

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch kräftig malzig, würzig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, getreidig, leichte Bitterkeit.

Golden color with a mighty head. It smells strongly malty spicy, slightly hoppy. Starts spicy malty, with good hop aromas in the aftertaste.
