Parallels is a Double Barrel Aged version of our Parfait base - a blend of Barrel Aged and Oak Aged Imperial Stouts which were blended and then racked back (double barrel aged) into Willett Barrels. After this final aging, we finished it with Fresh Ground Cinnamon Sticks, Vanilla Beans, and Barrel Aged Maple Syrup! This beer was initially formulated for Tavour - they have been lovingly asking for a stout forever! - and we wanted to use this opportunity to "share" how awesome our Shared beers are and can be! This beer represents the "Parallels" between the Side Project and Shared production - you all know that Shared is the same brewery, the same brewers, pulling from the same barrel stock - it is just an outlet for our brewers to have more creative freedom behind the beer and the branding while we share profits from these projects with them.
