Pitch-black beer under a good dark tan head. Sweet and heavily roasted, then the peat/whisky arrives. Meatroast and tarred poles. Sweet-roast bis, and the peated whisky arrives faster in the mouth. Islay delight. Slight but present stout acidity, balanced by the whisky flavours. Alcoholburn and -thinning, heat, and serious punch. Oily feel. Good whisky stout; for full enjoyment, peat preference is required.
