(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 28 Nov 2024) Golden colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity nose with peaches, grass and green grapes. Fruity, slightly tart taste with peaches, apricots, grapes, herbs, apples, flowers, marzipan and a vinous finish with low bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Complex, fruity, herbal and strong, still in fairly good balance. Very nice.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Sweetish with some nice saison yeast, grape, malt, touch of wood, stone fruit, lightly a touch of vegetable. More sweet than tart, not boozy despite the abv.

On tap at Akkurat. Dark golden/orange with a small white head. Sweetish with mild peach, yeast, malt. Warming notes in the finish.

Aus der Flasche (bottled 08.09.2023 bbe 08.09.2024) im 2023-11 getrunken. Die leicht orange farbende Ale kommt deutlichen Hefe und typischen Saisoncharakter mit feiner Hopfennote daher. Von den Pfirsichen kann ich nicht entdecken. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt ist perfekt eingebunden.

Tap. Clear orange color with white head. Aroma is peach, jammy. Taste is peach, some wood, tobacco, jammy, a bit wheat and dough, bananas. Oily mouthfeel, fine-bubbled carbonation with a mild bite. Decent.

Clear orange beer, creamy white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, rural impression, hay, cow fodder, barnyard, pinot getting any peach or grape in the smell. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: malty start, grains, hay, yeasty, some banana, no other fruits. Aftertaste: bitter, banana, dry, spicy. No idea what this beer is pretending to be, but if anything it’s not living up to its name by far.
