Can. Cloudy to murky yellow,lowish white head. Light metallic grape and citrus nose. Medium light body, copper, wine must, light grassy edges, the combination of wine and Nelson notes comes through. Spritzy fruitiness, gooseberry, light tropicals, pleasant yet quick resfreshing finish. Nice.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger, as Lervig Sauvignon Blanche. Pale yellow colour, hazy, moderate white head. Aroma and flavour of white wine / white grapes, gooseberries and some citrus. Pleasant to drink.

Can @ home. Unclear pale golden body under a thin, disappearing white head. Aroma is a bit grassy with distinct white vine yeast and a little touch of peach. Taste is sweet with lot less wine flavor than expected from aroma, more like some kind of saison with fruit juice added. Not super interesting or particular refreshing but there is something there. I like the idea of mixing saison with white vine and it would probably be a lot better less sweet with some wooden barrel taste.

7-3-7-3-14 Can, three weeks after canning. Pours cloudy straw yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is is yeasty notes of hay, wine grapes and musty fruit notes of stone fruits and apples, as wet grass, lightly peppery notes and wheaty minerals. Medium to full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is tart yeasty notes with hay, fruity notes of grapes, stone fruits and citrus, as well as spicy notes of wheat and floral minerals.

Veldig lys stråfarget. Uklar. Middels høyt kritthvitt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Lett fruktaroma. Smaken «lettvin» med en liten touch av malt. Vel søt. Fungerte brukbart som drikke til reker.
