(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden coloured and effervescent hue with a medium-sized foamy white head. Light-sweet and sour doughy malty nose with grassy and herbal hops. Sweet and light-bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Doughy and strawy malty taste with notes of cardboard and only shy hoppy accents; moderately dry, slightly papery malty and faint grassy hoppy finish. Mediocre Pilsener (17.X.08).

Bottled (BB 11/&2008)
Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Very pale yellow color, big bubbles and small white head. Corn sweet, buttery, almost lemonade-like aroma. Sweet malty flavor with semisweet pear flavors. Finish has some hop bitterness. A bit grassy aftertaste. Plain German brew, which is something between pilsener and helles.

Cask (Bayerische Anstich) at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear golden, majestic rocky head. Intense aroma of wet grass. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Distinctly bready malt flavour with notes of wool and butter. Getting sweeter towards a rather bitter finish. Not the clean crisp brew I’d expect a german pilsener to be, more a soft full flavoured helles.

Pale golden, thin foamy, stable layer; distinctive sweet-malty-grainy nose with a shy grassy hoppiness; modrerate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; shorter sweetish and grassy finish. O.K., an average brew.....

Test vom 4.9.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,7,9,6,10,7 - 7,20

Neutral aroma. Straw golden, big bubbles, lowish creamy head. Herbal bittterhop flavors, dry mouthfeel. Boring pils - quite ordinary.
