Golden color. Boiled milk and hops in the aroma. Malty flavor, hops, vanilla, apple, hint of licorice, boiled milk. Barnyard character. Not entirely clean, but certainly not without complexity.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May 18. One of three surprise German pils i brought out at the end of the night. Thanks kolshtrinker for this. Pours clear gold large white head. Familiar lager malt on the nose. Taste is generally a bit grotty, light, poor malt and cheap hop presence. None of us were into this.

Cheers Mat for this 500ml bottle, shared on 29th May 2018 in Chez Sophie during the monthly Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting. Clear, clean and bright golden body, white crown on top. Sadly I found this to be bland from the start and too dry in the finish. Felt like a cheap supermarket Pils.

Flasche (50 cl) aus dem tegut-Getränkemarkt Marburg-Wehrda. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase mildes, warm brotiges Malz, aber auch die typischen, dumpfen und schwach ranzigen Billigbieraromen. - Antrunk recht plörrig mit plastikartiger Süße, Pappe, Weißbrot und stumpfer Hopfenbittere, zusammengehalten durch schwach karamellige Malzsüße. Angenehm fülliger Malzkörper. Im Abgang nicht zu knappe aber leere Bittere. Schwach ranzig-herber Nachgeschmack. - Arg bescheidenes Export, aber die angenehme Malzsüße reißt es noch heraus. Für 45 Cent kann man auch nicht mehr verlangen.

Bottle looks very much like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts spicy, unbalanced, modest dry, much too moldy-grasy. Not very drinkable. Not good.

Bottle. Sweet stale barley malt aroma. Hazy pale yellow color with moderate head. Very sweet barley malt and unpleasant bitter flavor. Poor even for an Export beer.

Gold colour. Almost a sour grain note. Hints of grassy hop. Wow - this is German? Bland, crackerlike character. Lousy.

Bottle 50cl @ Home.Clear light yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
