Bottle. Cloudy red colour. Raspberry aroma. The flavour is very dry for a fruit beer, but has berry flavour. Peppery, teaish aftertaste.

Bottled. Amber colour, small off white head. aroma of raspberry. Flavour is alcohol and raspberry. A bit unbalanced and too sweet, but still better than BS Myrtille.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy red with a creamy, pinkish head. Distinct berry aroma. Plenty of raspberry notes in the flavour, but dry and lightly tart. No real sweetnes at all, but a very pronounced alcohol feel. Certainly a different fruit beer, but not one I’d care to try again. 231005

An unclear red beer with a pink head. It has a strange artificial raspberry aroma, and the flavor is also very artificially raspberry. Not my cup of tea.

Bottled (BB 04/2008)
Hazy red, pinky. Good big creamy red head. A bit tart rasberry nose, slightly artifical. Dry, slightly sour with taste of rasberries. Same time quite watery - hoppy but lacks decent malt profile.

Gushing to light-pink foam; amber-brown beer with red-pink shine. Concentrated fruit nose (raspberry, raspberry jam, blackcurrant,...) Slightly tart raspberry taste & good fruitacids and carbonation on top of rather sweet base. Retronasal flavour of currant shrubs. However, very light, limit of watery texture. No beery notes whatsoever. Long fruitish aftertaste. Lately, a number of Walloon breweries - some quite artisanal - have exceeded in releasing abysmally bland and boringly light 'fruit'beers (Rosé des Remparts, Ducassis,...). Caulier has definitely done better. A really great fruitbeer it isn't - yet.

Bottled. Muddy bright red with very lively head. Sweet raspberry aroma. Yeasty and sweet with flavours of cookies and soft chocolate nougat along with raspberry jam. Unusual, but I don't like it much.
