This bottle is 2920, a blend of barrel-aged ales aged in rye whiskey barrels. This beer is released annually to commemorate our anniversary. Each year we save a portion of our previous anniversary beer to be blended with a fresh batch that is then aged for a year in rye whiskey barrels. We do this so that every anniversary ale contains a piece of our past and evolves and changes with the brewery over time.

Bottle, at share, thanks to Jon. Pours dark brown. Bourbon, caramel, booze, vanilla, biscuit, rich decadent toffee. Good oily body. Excellent.

750 ml white wax capped bottle from the brewery, via delivery, 12/29/20. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 months old at this point I would guess (as I got a 9th Anniversary bottle a couple months back as well). Pours a dark brown color with a fizzy tan / light brown head. Fairly complex, mixing together the rich whiskey / bourbon, some raisin / plum fruitiness, brown sugar, molasses, and oak. This is a big old beer. Very well done. Kane really knows what they are doing when it comes to putting beer into wood.
