10/XII/13 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: IX/2014 (2013-1137) Thanks to Dominiek for the bottle!

Clear pale yellow beer, huge solid creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: grains, cow fodder, stable, bit grassy, hint of banana, bit metallic. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, malts, sweet grains, pretty bitter, hoppy. Aftertaste: watery impression, bitter hops, some banana, bit metallic, very light impression, watery, but saved by the nice hop bitterness.

11.2 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy orange color with a large fizzy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of wheat with a bit of doughiness and caramel. Citrus, soft stone fruits, spice, yeast. The taste is citrus, wheat, fairly strong clove, mild banana, some toastiness. Medium bodied, fizzy carbonation. Decent.

Duft av appelsin og aprikos, lite skum, gul-brun grumset på farge. Litt syrlig smak men ikke mye. Et godt leskende øl i varmen men ikke så mye mer.

Pours clear, bubbly gold with a large white head. Tart lemon, malt scent. Taste is very plain...wheat lemon... Not spiced at all...very plain... Ok, but rather boring.

Bottled, 0.50l. Hazy pale golden color with small white head, soft carbonation and traces of yeast residue. Aroma of yeast, wheat, mild banana and grassy hops. Taste starts with sweet & sour wheat malt, then followed by light banana and vanilla notes. Mouthfeel is quite plain, while aftertaste is mildly bitter. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. It’s not a champ, indeed...

Nåja. Tynn og ikke spesielt interessant - i beste fall en renere og mildere variant av andre av deres øl.

Light hazy yellow colour with a smal white head. Medium wheat aroma with some strange fruity notes. A very light malty flavour with almost no banana. Well German hefe weize? More a light sour fruity flavour.
