16 ounce can from brewery. Mahogany brown color. Frothy tan head. Subtle, caramel malt aroma. Sweet toasted malt flavor hints at bittersweet chocolate and sweet toffee. Creamy mouthfeel. Warming alcohol. Sticky, bitter hop finish.

A dark copper amber bock with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with Saaz hops, light mineral notes, light treacle, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with dark fruits, light mineral notes, light grassy hops, faint licorice, alcohol warmth, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Can from Chris M: pours very pretty ruby brown with light beige head. Aroma is dark fruit: plum, hefty maltiness. Taste is lightly sweet, chewy, low bitterness. Easy to drink fast but best enjoyed slow.

Can at the DC post-Thanksgiving 2021 gathering. Poured a very dark brown, perhaps a dark cola color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma was chewy malts, sweet, but not overly sweet.
