Big Nugget is a barrel-blended imperial stout brewed with chocolate, almonds, toasted coconut, and a hint of freshly roasted coffee.

It pours with a fluffy head in the glass and puts forth flavors and aromas of chocolate-covered almonds, coconut candy bar, vanilla-chocolate mousse, and chocolate-bourbon cocktail.

Over two years in the making, the depth of complexity in Big Nugget’s flavor profile is to be cherished and enjoy. MMM!

Sampled at Charlton location. Does Tatses like candy bar although not a candy I reach for. Dark black pour. Nose is coconut and cholesterol. Tastes much the same, with the rich soybsauce I got in all their stout samples, vanilla and light barrel.

Pours a thick oily almost black from a bottle, no head that I noticed. Big dark chocolate aroma, some faint coffee and roasted nuts. Flavor is the same with a thick sweet caramel note. My word this is thick and oily. Pretty good beer.

Bottle shared in NH. Pours oily black with a foamy, tan head. Huge sweet flavour, super think, lots of crfany chocolate, raisins, strawberry, chocolate cake. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, sticky, lots of gooey chocolate. Quite sweet but enjoyable.

Bottles from Matt: pours black with a small head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, slight roastiness. Taste is sweet, nice dark chocolate and coffee notes. Not too sweet. Solid.

Bottle drunk 5/22/21.
Ebony-dark chocolate, untested clarity. Dark tan head is small and slowly fades.
Big chocolate and butter toffee is pitted vs coffee and light alcohol dryness. Not sure who wins out so in that sense, there's some balance, but there's a lot of rich lactose and milk chocolate character that gets a bit tiresome.
Sweet and thick though perhaps not obnoxiously so, in the mouth with a velvety texture and low but fairly tight carbonation. I guess I'm just pretty over these massive lactose addition stouts; this one isn't even bad or anything and the coffee and dark chocolate character helps alleviate a lot of the monotony. But yeah. Not offering much innovation on the pastry stout here, even if it's a fine drink for what it is.
