0,5 l. bottle. Hazy, dark brown colour. Big, stable tanned head. Very malty aroma, nearly no traceable bitterness. Sweet taste with a good amount of caramel. Creamy texture with a medium body, good palate. Flavourful and drinkable, but have my doubts about the "dunkel"classification (?)

Bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Pours a nice caramelly, deep amber. Aroma is fairly fresh and fruity for its category, leaving the darker maltiness somewhat in the background. Again with the taste, the fruitiness is quite apparent, but here’s also some more sweetness from the malt. Finish is bitter, with a burned aftertaste.

500 ml bottle. Dim dark golden body with a fine off-white head. Quite nice aroma of malt, grain and fruit with some grassy hops. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, mature fruit, moderate bitter with hint of yeast. It’s a quite promising beer, somehow mellow and could easily be an ale, but something is missing and it ends up a bit medium all the way.
