Dark brown color, hardly any head. Toasty applearoma. Roasted malt in the flavor. Licorice. Just a hint of sweetness. Rather thin. Surprisingly good beer.

0,5 l swing top bottle. Darkest red to black in the glass, lively CO2 carbonation, nice light beige head. Malt and a sharp sourness on the nose. Taste starts like vermouth, later with a little low tartness. Low coffie to the end but all way too sweet. Bad one. [Test 15.01.2013].

50cl swing-top bottle. Dark brown in the glass, beige head. The beer starts quite sweet, malty. Like bavarian malt candy. The mainpart gets a bit better drinkable, nice bitter notes are present, very malty. The aftertaste is long, malty-sweet, slightly bitter.
--> Nice, even slightly roasted Winterbier. Not very easy to drink, but nice to enjoy.
