0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before January 2026. Clear, dark reddish brown with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, nuts and some raisins. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a little fruity taste of caramel, nuts, some cocoa and light raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little roasty finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Simple but pleasant Dunkel, one of the better beers from this brewery.

Brown colour, huge frothy head. OK retention. Thick laces. The aroma is not that strong. Toast, dry fruit, some hay. Light to medium body. Thin to oily. The taste is tosty and caramelly sweet. Minimal roast. Light bitterness present. Medium long balanced finish. Similar aftertaste. Decent.

500ml bottle: BB 4th Nov 2021. Drank at home on 29th Jan 2021. Poured a clean and clear deep amber, off-white head. Malty molasses rule this beers nose and taste, my sweet tooth really enjoyed it. Some beers in this style seem watery and weak body wise; this one isn't like that, it's more 'full bodied' and has depth.

Clear amber brown colour, fair frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma roasted malt, caramel, kopiko candy, chocolate notes. Taste light heavy sweet to medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, coffee and chocolate notes, light roasty. Light to medium body, light oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, roasted malt notes, well-made and tasty dunkel, quite good.

After more than 3000 ratings my first one with schraubverschluss. Aroma is nothing much slight melasses and coffee ground. Taste is bitter coffee ground and guinness with some sweet caramel base. Complex sugars. A bit on the sweet spectrum but no obvious flaws.

0,5 l bottle from my local Hol´Ab! market. Clear red brown in the glass, nearly two finger pale beige head. Malty smell with fruity sweetness. Taste is also malty, some sweetness, caramell. Low toasted in the second part. Low but present hop. Quaffable stuff.

500 mL twist cap bottle picked up at the Frankfurt airport. A dark but clean cola brown pour with a ton of foam head. Semi sweet, doughy malts on the aroma. Both rich and bold bready malt flavor, a little carb bite. Sweet malty finish. Soft metallic burn. Pretty good overall.
