Aroma has caramel and licorice. Almost black color. Licorice and coffee flavors, with just a bit op hops. Thinnish. Lacks the assertiveness of Jever pils, but still a decent beer.

Northern German but otherwise quite typical Schwarzbier with light beige, moussy head and deep black-brownish colour with ruby hue. Roasted coffee and caramel aroma with some leafy hops and a hint of leather. Bit one-dimensional taste, mostly roasted bitterness, warming and enjoyable but I did have a few Schwarzbiers with more complexity.
