Bottled. Murky brown colour with ambery notes, mediumsized off-white creamy/foamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is mildly burnt malts along with some herbal and grassy notes. Flavour is quite similar, but also has some slight liquorice and wood in it. Finish is semidry.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts hoppy and dry, not very malty. The finish is still very dry, also a bit metallically. Not my favourite.

Medium beige head does not last. Deep dark brown barely translucent body with light carbonation. Earthy roasty aroma is slightly stale and dry with meaty notes. Dry roasty meaty earthy taste with licorice notes. A little watery, could use more body. Dry slightly metallic toffee aftertaste with faint chocolate notes. Some sweetness in the background. Taste improves dramatically once the beer is heated a little. Decent. (0.3l bottle at La Rusticana, LΓΌbeck.)

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a huge, dense and tan head. Sweetish brewmash like aroma. Flavour holds mild roasted malt notes, minor chocolate smoothness, medium sweetness, light acidity and a solid bitterness into the finish. Finish shows a mix of acidity from the roasted notes and bitterness. Quite nice and easy beer.
