Pours hazy copper into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes leaving thin sheets. Summer pit fruit, berries and straw aromas. Medium bodied with mildly tart raspberries and crushed raspberry seeds front to back. Slick, lasting bread and straw finish. ABV well hidden.

Look, I support victory for its efforts especially since anchor called it quits. Victory, I think , has been around quite a long time too. So, this is to be another monkey? You know, take a fairly popular name and make cloned variations, for profit? None the less? How does a brewer survive the long shot?? First pop from this can, no hint from the nose that it is what it is supposed to be, somewhat fresh but except that, it’s not an offense and a turn off. Pour and what is in the eye? A clear slightly darker than pale orange colored with a medium foamy white bubbly head. After the small pour, I drink it right from the can; it’s not offensive and it does have a slight hint of berry flavor, and yes its somewhat tart. A careful introspection yields a little bit of that processed feel in there lurking around. Finally I look at the label and it says nothing about the ABV but here @ RB, it says its almost a 10 percenter? NO WAY! Oh my, hiding its alky content as well. Oh yea, oops, how stupid of me, I was looking at the small print before even looking at the ABV Righton the front of the can in BIG STRAIGHT UP FONT….. Yet hypnotizing baby blue sea-green, I may add. Overall, I finished the can without any complaints and it’s a pretty good median between a full out tart brew and a lager. It went down easy and does no harm to the sour monkey moniker. Good job V, there are no ill ale or lager affects in this one! And as a bonus, caught a little buzz as well! Its a misnomer that tart beers are low alky, hehhh.

Flavour is composed of semi sweet tangy, watermellon, jammy berry, jolly rancher, apple. Palate is semi sweet, tangy, moderate carbonation. Little gimmicky.

A red copper ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light cherry, light berries, so-so. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity raspberry jam with light acidity, light alcohol warmth, OK. On tap at Philly location.

Raspberry nose. Clear amber, thin head, good amount of lacing. Raspberry, tart. Medium body, easy carbonation, warm. I expected to hate this because it's a fruit beer, but I realized something about myself. I actually don't mind a little fruit so much in a high gravity style. This was nice.
