Tap at BGB. Pitch black body, thick creamy tan head. Lovely creamy malty aroma, cocoa on dried figs. Lean, dryish, sweetish taste, plenty of cocoa, plenty of dried fruit, some bitterish hoppy touches. Quite solid,!

Tap at BeerGeek. Med-full body, medium carbo. Med-high bitterness, light swwetness. Solid roasty base, coffee, cocoa, dry feeling. Med-light chocolate. Only a bit enriched by oats, nothing game-changing. Light earthy background hops. Tasty, drinkable, classic. Quite good.

Draught @ The Hoptimist, Manhattan (Dec 2023). Pours opaque dark brown with a small frothy dark beige head, coffee aroma, medium carbonation, bitter mocha taste with earthy flavor, thin body, long bitter mocha finish. Smooth stout.

Cask at Churchkey. Pours a dark brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has toasty dark grains with a bit of leaves and chocolate supporting. Flavor has earthy dark grains with a bit of chocolate and earthy roast in the finish.

Full-ish pint @Grand Delancy alongside some Puerto Rican food stall grub. Dark, matte, extra foamy & sticky nitro. Peanut milkshake, a little chocolate & mallow. Milky, strong char, nutty, bitter husk, touch of chocolate, watery finish. Okay.

On tap at the Roost, pours a translucent dark brown with a nice cap of creamy, off white head. Nose has malt, some light nuts, a little dark brown sugar. Flavors same, malty, earthy, nutty. Full bodied, dry. Very well made. 7 4 7 3 13
