Bottle pour from Valley Beverage. Opaque black with thin head quickly fading to a ring w/trace lacing. Aroma is strong chocolate, hazelnut and bourbon. Taste is strong chocolate and hazelnuts with bourbon (slightly harsh initially but mellows as sits). Smooth, slightly frothy texture, medium bodied with soft carbonation and finish as taste. Delivers Ferrero Rocher to a T. Good strength and balance. Any harshness fades quickly and no sign of ABV.

500 ml bottle. 2022 vintage. Aroma has mild hazelnut, roasted malt, German Chocolate cake. Flavor follows and does resemble a Ferrero Rocher. Velvet texture and smooth over the mother. Bourbon is mildly warming after the sip. Awesome!

2022 bottle shared by tfontana on 6/1/24. Clear, dark. Small, tan head to partial cover quickly. Smells like a liquidied ferrero richer candy. Exactly. Hint of mellow bourbon spice. Very easygoing. No alcohol noted. Crusty, crunchy, chocolatey with cacao and lots of vanilla with lovely hazelnut. Not as rich and thick as I'd like, I think. But spicy, not sugary. Good homogenization of ingredients. No booze. Not super complex but well-done.

On tap at The Wandering Tortoise, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma exudes intense cocoa upfront, a touch of toasted hazelnut, and bourbon barrel vanillin. Flavour is chocolatey and sugary, with tons of chocolate, gentle toasted hazelnut, and dark sugars. The bourbon isn't so obvious. This one seems a tad messier than average, but still very fine.

Dark brown, just a thin head. Super rich chocolate aroma. Big, sweet and decadent. Light hazelnut, a lot of chocolate, rounded, complex bourbon notes.
