Bottled (BB 11/2005)
Hazy dark orange, tight beige head. Yeast, banana, lemon and hops in the aroma. Crisp. fruity, lemony, yeasty. Nice hoppy, oily aftertaste. Refreshing summer drink with some woody notes. Even a bit Fantome-like.

(Bottle 33 cl) Amber, slightly hazy, creamy and lasting head with a fine lacing. Extremely hoppy - almost IPA-like. A sharper less pleasant and not so aromatic hoppiness though. Some caramel notes from the malt. A somewhat crude and unrefined beer. 240405

(BBd not indented) Beer is completely flat; fully flunky peach-ochre. Faint whiff of - vinegar? Rainwater, bit of malt - very little really. Adstringent on tasting, light bitterness, spicey (with no means of identifying). Much bitterer palate. Watery mouthfeel, flat, absolutely no carbonation. Obviously bad bottle - infected, though not undrinkable. Must try again.

Clean light amber color, generous head, thick. Very nice hop aroma (old hop) and malt. Dry mouth, good malt, bold hop character, preluding to a strong and pretty aromatic final.
Much better body character than a lot of stronger brews.
