Die Optik des Wintertraums erscheint wunderbar bernsteinfarben mit leichtem Glanz und angemessen feiner Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone verhält sich dabei flaumig und gut haltbar. In der Nase vernimmt man leichtes Getreide mit brotigen, toastigen und leicht karamelligen Malznoten. Eine leicht trockene, heuige bis kräuterige Hopfennote schwingt dabei im Hintergrund mit. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, passend rezent, brotig bis toastig malzig und trocken herb. Im Mund breitet sich ein Körper mit mäßiger Fülle, kräftig-feiner Rezenz, seidiger Textur und guter Trockenheit aus. Auf Zunge und Gaumen breiten sich getreidige und brotige bis toastig-karamellige Malznoten aus, die von einer sehr präsenten, trockenen, heuigen und kräuterigen Hopfenherbe mehr als im Zaum gehalten werden. So wirkt dieses Wintermärzen überraschend trocken, bleibt aber angenehm und sehr gut trinkbar. Im Nachtrunk bauen die Malznoten relativ rasch ab und die heuig-kräuterige, trockene, doch relativ herbe Hopfennoten übernehmen und halten lange an.

Flaska från Bierothek. Klar gyllengul vätska med medelhögt fluffigt vitt skum. Lite kantig karaktär både i munkänsla och smak. Lite plåtig beska och lätt rågbrödssyrlig smakbild. Ok

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag welke. Het heeft een aroma van mout en gist. De smaak is moutig, zacht en wat gist achtig.

Bottle. Xmas gift of the missus. Now has a pale blue label. Mostly clear gold. Firm and lasting white foam. Cereal with a twang. Light spicy leaf. Taste similarly has a twang. Some sweetness. Pretty bright and easy drinking. Hint of bitterness to finish.

Deep gold with a creamy, white head. Aroma a mix of grains and dankness. A touch of honey. The faint spice coming through the hops might be called nutmeg if we’re feeling generous. Taste is very mildly bitter with plenty of malty, buttered bread sweetness underneath. Body to the light side of medium, watery texture, particularly towards the end. Rather mediocre.

Clear amber colour, white foam. Nose of caramel, light fruity, light hoppiness. Ok.

Bottled. It's not often I comment, but where the hell do the German beers / brewers get their Winter things from? Pale as fuck things usually... So this one is pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is grassy, mild floral and some herbal elements to it. Flavour is bready, some toasted, mild floral tones with some earthy and mild bready tones. More of a Summer quaffer than anything with warming and Winter. BAH. (rating given with that it is, and not deducting the hate of this being a Summer, not Winter beer).
