2022 bottle from the brewery, drunk 8/19/23, thanks, Chalameaux! Dark, no head. Coffee, sugar, soft, mellow bourbon, hint of green bell pepper. Bit of condensed milkiness. Touch of alcohol. Cherry-vanilla. Thankfully the the flavor is far different. Bitter black malt, coffee and vanilla with thick, syrupy condensed milk and condensed malt. Rich, but nicely attenuated relative to size/style. Good peppery bitterness on the finish. Shockingly mellow and drinkable with excellent, excellent barrel character and somehow no booze in the mouth despite the rampant nose.

500 ml bottle. Thanks TJ. The aroma was bold Vietnamese coffee, bourbon and chocolate. Flavor is quite good and a direct reflection of the aroma with the addition of soft bourbon. Mildly sweet finish in a thick body.

Aroma is coffee, vanilla, bourbon. Taste is smooth, rich, creamy. Nice balance, loads if flavor.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black. Coffee, vanilla, bourbon, cinnamon, dark chocolate, nutty, lingering bourbon. Nice oily body. Good.
