Human Interface is a well-hopped Heller Bock brewed with in collaboration with Donzoko. This German lager is often brewed to usher in spring and the joy felt in coming together face to face after a long dark winter. This bigger version of a Helles has softer bitterness than a pilsner with bigger hop punch. Floral and bready and a first for Donzoko and us.

Hops: Saphir, Tettnanger

(Draught at Mother Kelly's Vauxhall, London, 29 May 2022) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with lasting white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, toffee and herbal hops. Malty, hoppy taste with bread, peaches, grass, citrus and a balanced herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made maibock. Very nice.

Can from The Hanging Bat. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head that holds sell. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grass, bread and lime pith. Flavour follows the aroma - it’s bready and has a crisp, hoppy finish. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A crisp, full flavoured lager. Very nice.
