Can pour from Friar Tuck, Crestwood. Opaque black with tons of sparkle, quickly fading fizzy head and no lacing. Aroma is rich, sweet, earthy malt, toffee, noble hops. Taste is strong molasses, earthy malt, noble hops. Smooth, thick texture, flat-to-soft carbonation and finish as taste. Aroma more complex than taste and OK overall. Much better than my other Chinese rating (Tsingtao) but don't think the Chinese will be vying for beer-making world supremacy any time soon.

Pour is a black with almost no head at all. Aroma is roasted nuts with a syrupy molasses. Flavor is again very syrupy and thick sweet molasses. Finish leaves some roasted notes on the tongue. Not the worst beer I've had from China but also not very good. A bargain bin pick up.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear brown with a dark tan head that left quickly. Aroma is an odd mix of coffee, chocolate and toffee. Near med body. Flavor is definitely odd. Make it toffee/treacle and mildly sweet. Burnt malt bitter? Quite strange for me.
