Bottle from The Beer Cave. Hazy deep amber body with an off-white head that holds well. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of red apple and rust. Flavour of wheat and apple pie. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Earthy and spicy.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy chocolate brown with a foamy head. Caramel, roasted nuts, raisins, dates, overripe banana, earthy notes, clove, rye. Fruity malty sweetness, some dry bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry fruity malty caramel sweet finish. Quite a good Dunkelweizen, flavourful, full-bodied, sophisticated, however slightly too sweet for my liking.

Brown with a frothy, white head. Aroma is the highlight, a rich mix of banana bread and chocolate. Taste is mildly bitter, finishing the same with lingering clove and toffee. Body to the light side of medium, slightly watery texture which feels out of place. A little more chewiness and this would be a great one. Nice.

Very hazy amber colour, white foam. Nose of banana, wheat, citrus, light sweet, light tart, easy drinkable.

50cl Fles van De Bierkoning. Bruine kleur, beige kraag. Kruidnagel, fudge, caramel, basterdsuiker, banaan, licht fruitig, honing, vrij zoet maar niet overdadig door de Weizen-gist, heel licht fris zuurtje. Lichte tot medium body. Romig, glad mondgevoel. Lekker.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Sunday 19th February 2023 listening to Billy Nomates - Cacti, smoking a Pulled Pork Joint, along with Smoked Coleslaw and Carolinar Vinegar Sauce. Pours dark hazy amber with an off white head, lovely soft mouthfeel. Nice body, a touch on the light side but that’s good I guess if you want a couple, light banana and clove and yeastiness. Nice beer.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Pours a murky caramel brown colour with an orange hue and a medium sized fast dissipating off-white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, toffee and caramel. Taste has cloves, toffee and caramel, a hint more banana and a little bit of cinnamon and peppery spice. Sweetish finish. Medium body and a slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Not a great fan of this one. Just ok.
