One pint can, three and half years aged. Black, opaque. AROMA- pralines, liquor, dark chocolate, coffee, almond, coconut. FLAVOR- sweet, moderately bitter, warming, simply sweet alcoholic liquid pralines with coconut and almond flavor. Full bodied.
Great.

Tap at The Grand Delancey. Pours black, oily and thick with a tan head. Nose and taste are loads of coconut almond, toasty, nutty. Then some chocolate, booze and nougat shows as well, quite sweet overall, almost cloying. Rich, decadent and in in-your-face.

Can (3/29/22) pour from Beer & Wine Nation. It's an inky black with slightly reddish hue, nice viscosity, light sparkle, thin ring of beige head and no lacing. Aroma is earthy roasted malt with hints of toffee, anise and coconut. Taste is sweet malt with a rich quality reminiscent of cherry cough syrup, late nut and hint of coconut. Mouthfeel is full bodied with thick syrup texture, warming alcohol, soft carbonation and sweet finish as taste. Overall, perhaps due to age, coconut and almond are muted leaving a sweet, earthy stout with a thick syrup consistency. Was expecting a lot more.

Can from the Advent box day 3 Inky black color with a decent sized tan head that slowly recedes. Rich roast and chocolate maltiness with bits of brown sugar and caramel. Nutty, alcohol, and licorice notes to counter. Thick and sweet a sipper for sure.

Fat på Brewskival 2022, fre. Svart med khaki krona. Kokos, kaffe, mandelmassa, marsipan, mörk choklad, lagom hetta. Mjuk och runda, lagom sötma mot rostade och brända toner. Gott.

Canned 4/5/21, drunk 4/2/22. Thick, syrupy, dark ebony with no head. Oxidation and alcohol with a hint of coconut, heavy fudge and caramel and softer vanilla on the end. Mega sugary, syrupy, cloying, maple-fudge-chocolate. No real attempt at balance, it seems. Difficult to drink more than a few sips. Just sooooo sugary and cloyingly sweet. Dumped it after 3 sips.
