Very DDDoubleganger is the ultimate expression of our Alter Ego family of beers. Born out of a desire to continue pushing the envelope, this thoughtfully crafted beer provides an epic hop saturation propelled by a dense body and tongue-coating mouthfeel.

Pouring a wild hazy orange color into your glass, this beast carries dense notes of tropical fruit, a medley of mango and citrus, and summer stone fruit that is so juicy it's hard to believe it is concocted of just water, malt, hops, and yeast.

It finishes cleanly with a palate-coating bitterness that entices your next sip. Rivaled only by the Almighty Julius, this one is truly special--Enjoy!

16oz can pours a very murky orange with plenty of sticky white head. Nose is huge with mango and orange bubblegum and herbs, grasses, some wheat. Flavor is chewy with grains and wheat, orange peel, orange curd, some mango. A bit raw on the end, full bodied, off dry.

Pours a hazy, glowing, golden yellow, with mid-sized head. Aroma is a soft, juicy, sweet combination of citrus and tropical fruit--no hops present here. Flavor is citrus and tropical fruit, maybe even some stonefruit, with the mildest of hop bitterness in the finish. Soft, soft mouthfeel.

Canned 6/23/23, drunk 7/11/23. Rich honey-caramel-bronze-golden-maize. Medium-sized, butter-colored head slowly to ring. Had this fresh and it's funny how much better it gets over time, to a point, of course. Now it's just a massive, massive rich, malty, hoppy, juice bomb. Peach, papaya, mango, orange juice, light pine and more with rich, honey-dense malts and great attenuation. No watermelon here, unfortunately, which is what this and Time Trial were missing for me, to be truly top, top tier (like 4.6+), but as is, and maybe I've just had this at the absolute sweet spot, it's absolutely stunning and massively drinkable for its size without being too sweet whatsoever.

Thanks Clark, mango, house yeast. It's good but not very different from the original.
