Sample at the brewery, pours a murky yellow with some white head Nose is on style, bubblegum and clove, some banana, pineapple. Flavors all the same. Creamy finish. Decent for the style.

Can, undated, drunk 9/14/17.
Fairly clear, very heavily-settled, honey-almond orange with a small, fizzy head.
Straightforward clove and banana mix with a cream of wheat. Clove phenol is almost smokey; they've obviously done a good job with its fermentation. More cracker, whitebread and biscuit behind it all, with a pinch of citrus and white pepper on the finish. No alcohol or flaw.
Highly attenuated with strong lemon-banana character, lots of white pepper and clove. Biscuity-crackery malts turn lightly husky and/or popcorn-like (not diacetyl). Probably sat in the fridge (not mine) too long, but you can tell it was a well-made hefe.

Taster pour at NH Brewfest. Appearance is hazy yellow-green (fairly like urine), no sparkle, small white head. Aroma is yeast, wheat, hard-to-define sweet--candied sugar? Taste is surprisingly strong banana (based on lack of presence in aroma), wheat, floral, fruit. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with average texture, soft-to-average carbonation with finish as taste. Overall, a good representative of the style with more banana than fruity esters.

Draft at Moat Mountain Smoke House & Brewing Co in N Conway, NH. Cloudy light yellow color and no head. Typical German hefe with cloves and yeast notes. Not a fan.

Poured into a weizen glass.
The appearance was a soft hazy burnt yellow to orange color. For a hefeweizen, I was a bit disappointed with lack of big fluffy white head that normally exists for the style.
Still, the smell grabs the normal flavors of a hefeweizen - banana esters, delicate clove and sly malted wheat underneath.
The flavor is basically the same with a lingering sharp malty wheat aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable feel to it. Carbonation seems to hit appropriately but the clove does hit a bit more than expected.
Overall, for the most part, it’s good. I’m surprised that aromas came out as they did with lack of head. But, I’m not going to be too hard on this despite appearance. Somehow, aromas and flavor seems to be on par.

16oz can from Bert’s Hazy light yellow with a stingy white head. Spicy earthy sweet bready aromas, some clove some banana. Sweet bready maltiness with a hint of spice, clove and light banana yeasty flavors, little to no hop flavor or bitterness. Pretty easy to drink no flaws, but just a bit uninspiring.

Pours orange peach into a shaker. No head whatsoever. Sweet banana aromas. Dry with sweet yeast and banana. Abrupt yeast finish.

Hazy yellow in color. Traditional nose of banana, bubblegum and wheat. Light, smooth, clean and refreshing. I ordered more than one, because it was just that good! A very well-done wheat beer.
