This imperial, hazy IPA is the fourth release in our “What’s Your Sign?” series, a collection of zodiac-inspired brews that embody the unique traits of each sign.
The astrological sign for Taurus is a bull, and it represents stability, strength, determination, reliability, patience, practicality, stubbornness, loyalty, and dependability. People born under the sign are said to have a love for beauty, luxury, and other pleasures of the physical world like comfort, sensuality, and material possessions.
This bullishly hoppy, imperial strength IPA was brewed for those determined to indulge in finest of earthly pleasures and luxuries.
Taurus pours a hazy, light yellow-orange hue into a glass and radiates a depth of wonderful hoppy aromas from its dense, stubborn head of foam. It was brewed with a base of pale barley malts layered with fluffy, protein-rich wheat and oats. Taurus was hopped in the whirlpool with Cryo Citra and then dry hopped twice during the tail end of fermentation with Cryo Cashmere, Mosaic, and Cryo Citra.
Taurus drinks with a soft, sensuous, medium body, low levels of perceived bitterness, and a finish that bursts with juicy, fruity, hop flavors.
We get notes of juicy ripened peaches, tangerine, candied mango chunks, tropical lime mist, soft melon, blueberries, guava tiki drink, and a gentle kiss of sweet pine.
