Can. Clear, dark gold with a three finger head. Aroma is galaxy hops, Belgium spice and grains. Taste is Belgium spice.

On tap at Cigar City, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is estery and sugary, with Belgian yeast gone wrong, candi sugar, and more generic estery sweetness. Flavour is less sweet and estery than the nose suggested, with fermented out sugars and floral notes, but also a light phenolic character I could do without. Typical American Belgian strong — too estery, not carb'd enough, and just doesn't use the Belgian yeast properly.

Can at home. Clear orange color, medium to full white head. Aroma is malts, wheat, yeasty. Flavor is similar: some malts, yeasty a bit, wheat, a bit sweetish and a bit bitter. Hmm not bad.

12 oz. can. I get a deep gold color without haze, and a clingy round of foam. The nose was kind of nondescript at first, but soon I caught the sweetness of Belgian candi sugar. Taste shows up the aromatic malts. Some sugar sweetness, and now some melon from the hop mix. Can't say I find much hop spiciness.

Can from Beer Republic (advent calendar).
A: clear dark golden, small, off-white head.
A: canned peach, pineapple, ripe apple, honey, triple sec.
T: sweet ripe peach & pineapple, honey, cake, clove.
F: floral & peppery hops, ripe yellow fruits, boozy triple sec-like alcohol.
P: medium to full body, oily texture, average carbonation.
Quite Belgian with a twist, bit too much really, and not really drinkable. I like it - a bit.

Sample. Appearance: almost clear golden with a white head. Aroma: definitely Belgian esters, a bit of caramel. Taste: along the same lines, a bit bitter, malty. Overall: ok.
